The Legendary Assault Rifle in Palworld is a very rare, much improved version of the regular weapon which can only be crafted after you obtain its schematics. It won’t be an easy job, but I am here to guide you through the entire process.
In short, you will first need to get the Legendary Assault Rifle schematics by defeating the Lv. 49 Blazamut world boss in the Volcano Mountain. Only afterwards, you will be able to craft the weapon.
The problem is that the schematics have a really low drop rate, so you might have to defeat the boss several times before the item drops. But let’s go through the process in more depth below!
Legendary Assault Rifle Schematic Location
I have marked, on the screenshot above, the location of the Lvl. 49 Blazamut boss you have to defeat to get a shot at the schematics for the Legendary Assault Rifle.
As you can see, it’s located in Volcano Mountain. To reach its location, start from the fast travel point that’s to the North East of the boss’ location.
Head towards it, but instead of climbing up the mountain, enter the underground mines right in front of you. Follow the cave straight, and you’ll find the boss.
Defeating it has a small chance to drop this specific schematic. Also, it’s helpful to know that it respawns every hour, so if you’re not lucky after your first try, there will be a second, and third and so on…

How to Beat Blazamut Alpha Boss
The battle is not an easy one, but since Blazamut is a fire-type boss, bringing Water-type pals along gives you an advantage from the beginning. Here is my full guide on how to easily defeat this boss:
Preparation:
- Gear Up: Equip a Hunting Rifle or Explosive Weapons for high damage. Fire-resistant armor is essential.
- Pals: Bring high-HP Pals that are water-based. Support Pals with healing abilities can also be helpful.
Attack Strategy:
- Dodge Fire Attacks: Blazamut Alpha will unleash powerful fire breath and area-of-effect flame attacks. Stay on the move, constantly dodging in circular motions to avoid taking damage.
- Focus on Weak Points: Blazamut’s underbelly and head are its weak spots. Aim your shots there to maximize damage.
- Keep Your Distance: The boss has devastating close-range attacks, so keep as much distance as possible while your Pals engage it up close.
Phase Transitions:
- Watch for Berserk Mode: When Blazamut’s health drops below 50%, it enters a berserk mode, increasing attack speed and damage. Stay focused on dodging and land quick hits during openings.
Final Push:
- Finish with Explosives: Once Blazamut’s health is low, use high-damage explosives or charged shots to finish it off quickly before it overwhelms you.

How to Craft Legendary Assault Rifle in Palworld
Now, after defeating the boss and getting the schematics, you must craft the actual Legendary rifle.
First, you will need Weapon Assembly Line. In there, you will be able to craft the item. This will obviously cost more than the normal rarity variant. Here is what’s required, so you can prepare in advance:
- 30x Ancient Civilization Parts
- 202x Carbon Fiber
- 67x Polymer
- 270x Refined Ingot
Keep in mind that the main ingredient you’ll need for Carbon Fiber and Refined Ingot is Coal. I recommend building an infinite Ore farm to never worry about these items again. And speaking of farms… here is my guide on farming leather in Palworld.
